One game, one home win, one tied series.
Senators 1 – 4 Rangers (Series tied 2 – 2)
New York concluded it’s home stand with another 4-1 victory to tie the series up ahead of the flops.
Nick Holden gave the Rangers the lead at 14:04, but the game was killed off by two Oscar Lindberg goals in the second period.
Chris Kreider added the exclamation mark in the third, with Kyle Turris’ goal with 6:26 remaining scant consolation for the Sens.
Henrik Lundqvist made 22 saves on a comfortable night for the Rangers, who head back to Ottawa with a real chance in this series.
Two game fives, one with the chance of an elimination.
Predators @ Blues (NSH leads 3 – 1)
TV: NBCSN, CBC, TVAS
While the Blues were able to cope with the onslaught of the Minnesota Wild, they’ve been unable to do the same with Nashville, who will reach the western conference final with a win in St Louis tonight.
What the Preds need to do: Keep doing what they are.
What the Blues need to do: Something, anything. They look beat.
Reason to watch: If it’s rubbish, PK Subban might be a distraction.
Oilers @ Ducks (Series tied 2 – 2)
TV: NBCSN, Sportsnet, TVAS
The garbage series from the pits of hell is yet to see a home win. Does that change tonight, or do the Oilers go home with a chance to clinch?
What the Oilers need to do: Regroup. Two demoralising wins at home won’t have helped the cause.
What the Ducks need to do: Carry the momentum home.
Reason to watch: It’s fun to watch things burn.
